After ten years as a corporate account executive with a Fortune 500 company, I left to pursue a career in residential real estate.  I received my agent´s license in 1999 and my broker´s  license in 2001.  At that time I opened my own brokerage so  I could tailor my  services to my clients´ individual needs.  As the owner/broker of Kennedy Mahon Realty, my mission is to provide the information and representation my clients deserve.  Solid research and attention to detail allow me to aggressively negotiate on my clients´ behalf.  I treat every transaction as if the money was my own. I work tirelessly to find my buyers the home that meets their needs.  My sellers can count on my honesty and skill to price their home correctly for a timely sale.  Technology and communication play a huge role in my service to my clients.  Numerous relocation resources and information links about Dallas and the surrounding communities can be found on my website.  This is very important to clients who are relocating to Dallas.  In advance of "house hunting", I search for available listings that meet their needs and can email them  detailed information on various properties for their approval.  This is a time saver for  clients who are traveling in for only a few days to choose their new home.  

I specialize in North Dallas, Preston Hollow, The Disney Streets, Midway Hollow, Glenridge Estates, Bluffview, Lakewood, and The M Streets.  This includes both new construction and pre-existing homes in all of these areas.  Many prospective home buyers do not realize the importance of having representation when purchasing new construction. I work with skilled inspectors, lenders and title companies to make my clients´ purchase or sale go as smoothly as possible.   I am a member of several professional organizations, including the National Associations of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and Metro-Tex Association of Realtors.  I have also been approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission to teach real estate courses.  I am proud to say that I have built my brokerage almost exclusively on the referrals of past clients.

Buying without an agent?!?!?!

Did you know that when you buy your home without a buyer's agent, you don't have anyone fighting for you or your best interests. While the seller's agents are legally bound to tell you all material facts about a property, they do not have to help you with fair market value or offer advice to protect your interests. As a matter of fact, it is their duty to make the best deal possible for the seller. As a buyer, your agent is usually paid by the seller's agent at no direct cost to you. I encourage you to retain the services of a buyer's agent to work for you. You deserve to have someone on your side.
